Learning to stay away from any occurrences that will trigger a panic attack is an effective way to control the palpations and sweating. At first glance, you may not understand what is happening and why. It takes time to realize the factors involved in a panic attack and know why it happened. It could be the surroundings, a smell, a sound or just about anything. Being aware of why it happened it the first step towards helping your body’s emotions to relieve the anxiety.

Fear can trigger anxiety to occur. It does not matter what the fear may be at the time of the anxiety attach and by accepting the fear and not fighting it will help it pass as soon as it came. Trying to escape the feelings will make the attack worse. Breathe and close your eyes if possible for a moment and try to remain calm. Panic attacks are one of the worse feelings on earth to have. Everyone in their lifetime has an anxiety attack one time or another. Traffic, stress, grief and so many other things contribute to them. There is not one specified things that causes the attacks to occur.

Be patient when you are dealing with panic attacks and they will subside. By practicing breathing methods you will diminish them faster. Meditation with simple breathing methods will lower the heart palpitations. Even though a person initially has a strange response to something there are relaxation techniques to rest and calm the body. Learning certain statements such as “this will pass” and repeating it over and over will calm the body down. Being distracted from what ever it was that triggered the panic attack is another good way to relax the body and helps in dealing with panic attacks. You might feel like you can’t breathe, or you might even feel pain as though you are having a heart attack. You might feel a sudden onset of fear as your heart beats wildly and your pulse races. The good news is that if you feel these symptoms, you can learn how to deal with panic attacks to overcome this condition naturally. Read more about the Panic Away system for dealing with panic attacks.
When you are having a panic attack, the first thing you have to do is try to gain control of your breathing. Even though you are in full panic mode and you may feel like you are losing control, you have to make the conscience decision to get control of yourself. You should take slow, deep breaths to get your breathing back to normal.
In your mind, you should concentrate on counting. Slowly breathe in and hold your breath as you count to three. As you count, visualize each number in your head. Focus on the pictures of the numbers you create in your mind. Then, slowly release your breath. This will calm you because you will be in total control of your breathing, and you won’t be focused on the panic. Instead, your focus will be on the numbers.
When you think you are feeling pain during an attack, you probably panic even more than usual. You need to take a moment and stop what you are doing. You have to remind yourself that nothing is actually wrong, and you are only feeling sensations. Slowly repeat this to yourself in your head or aloud. The trick is that you have to believe this. You have to logically tell yourself that you are okay, and nothing is really happening to you. You have to be strong and believe that your mind has power over your body. Once you make the decision not to let the panic affect you, it won’t have any power over you.

You can also learn how to deal with panic attacks by being ready for them before they occur. You need a plan in place to help you take the focus off of yourself during an attack. When an attack occurs, you could plan to sing the alphabet backwards in your head, draw a portrait, or count cars driving down the road. Once you stop self monitoring, you won’t pay attention to panic attack symptoms.

I have found that one of the best programs for helping you to control these systems is the Panic Away method. This method can help you to start controlling your panic attacks in a matter of days!
